League Notes:

  • Format: This Co-ed Softball Tournament is 3-Pitch (pitch to your own team) and is played with 9 fielders
  • Gender Requirements: Teams must have 3 males and 3 females on the field at all times
  • Number of Games: Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 3 games (most likely 4-5)
  • Game Length: Games will be 5 innings with a 1-hour time limit
  • Skill Level: Teams are expected to be at a Recreational/Intermediate skill level
  • Officials: Every game will be monitored and umpired by a league representative, but teams should also be prepared to self-officiate their games, meaning players call their own fouls, outs, etc. League representatives are not certified/trained umpires.

  • Equipment: Bases and Balls will be provided, but teams will need to supply their own gloves and bats
  • Other: All registration fees are subject to HST. Your spot is not guaranteed until you have paid in full

Skill Level Breakdown:

  • Recreational: Most players will have basic skills, and some players may be playing Softball for the first time
  • Intermediate: Most players have good skills, and most players have played Softball at some level
  • Competitive: Most players have very good skills, and most have played at Softball at a high level

Average Joe Sports Club reserves the right to switch players/teams into a different division based on numbers and skill levels.

Games will most likely be played at Glenashton Park and/or Millbank Park (Oakville)
