About Burlington and Oakville Volleyball Leagues at Average Joe Sports Club
Burlington and Oakville volleyball leagues were first offered by Average Joe Sports in 2007. Starting out as one division, we saw a large mix of skill levels in our volleyball league. In 2009 winter season (January – April) was the first time we offered 2 levels, recreational volleyball and intermediate volleyball. This worked well to separate out teams in recreational volleyball league that were relatively new to the sport (or who were just coming back to it after a long layoff). The intermediate volleyball league was for teams and individuals that had a good command of all (or most of) the basic skills (bumping, serving, volleying and spiking).Volleyball is a great game for players of all ages and skill levels. All Average Joe Sports Club volleyball leagues are played 6-on-6 and co-ed.
Whether you are playing in recreational or intermediate, volleyball is a great sport to have some fun, get active and meet some new people. Average Joe Sports Club offers volleyball leagues each season. All games are played in gyms within the Burlington and Oakville area.
