About Burlington and Oakville Floor Hockey Leagues at Average Joe Sports Club
Floor Hockey Leagues in Burlington, Oakville and Hamilton have been offered by Average Joe Sports since our second year as a Co-ed Recreational Sports Club.Hockey is a game that pretty much every Canadian has played at some point in their lives in some form...whether it is in organized leagues on ice, ball hockey leagues, street hockey or floor hockey in gym class.
Average Joe Sports Club’s co-ed adult floor hockey leagues in Burlington and Oakville provide a chance for adults to relive the fun of grade school floor hockey without the aggressive play of many ball hockey leagues.
There are few things Average Joe Sports Club does to ensure fun and safe play.
- We only use plastic sticks.
- We keep our floor hockey leagues co-ed (each team must have at least one female on the floor at all times).
- We use a soft rubber ball (not like that hard one used in ball hockey leagues)
- All floor hockey games are self-officiated, but have a league representative supervising
Average Joe Sports Club floor hockey has a great mix of people playing. There are some really talented males and females playing. However, there are also some players that are just looking to have some fun, get some exercise and meet some people. It is always fun to win, but in our Burlington and Oakville floor hockey leagues, having a good time is as good as winning.
